Onshore Drilling Systems

Onshore Drilling considers the Supply of Onshore rigs for Drilling which are of good quality, up to date as well as diverse in nature. This is required for Drilling projects as well as the supply of resourceful rigs that are updated with the latest technology as well as existing rigs that are current. Hydraulic Rigs Package:

Drilling hydraulics is considered the most important factor in drilling performance. Offshore Drilling Systems

Drilling for natural gas offshore, in some instances hundreds of miles away from the nearest landmass, poses a number of different challenges over drilling onshore. The actual drilling mechanism used to delve into the sea floor is much the same as can be found on an onshore rig. However, with drilling at sea, the sea floor can sometimes be thousands of feet below sea level. Therefore, while with onshore drilling the ground provides a platform from which to drill, at sea an artificial drilling platform must be constructed.

Equipment Spread Size
Generally, a hydraulic drilling equipment spread has a smaller footprint than a conventional drilling rig. This is, in part, because hydraulic drilling usually involves smaller hole sizes requiring smaller drill string diameters, smaller OD and lighter BHAs, and smaller mud systems and pumps that require only the circulation rates necessary to clean the hole. All of this means less areal space is required on the wellsite for the equipment spread.

Plug & Abandonment:

The plugging and abandonment (P&A) of subsea wells is required after well production is no longer viable. These services must meet strict regulatory and operator requirements to ensure remaining hydrocarbons are safely contained within the plugged well.
